1) MEI Telemeter with LAN/WAN configuration – This device is the
central technology in all MEI telemetry solutions. It can be equipped with
both a Local Area Network device and a Wide Area Network cellular
communications device depending on your needs.
The MEI Telemeter plugs right into the DEX jack of your machines to
deliver transaction data to your Card Processing vendor via the Internet.
MEI will install a Telemeter in each machine you wish to upgrade to accept cashless transactions.
All of the machines will need the LAN device, but only one machine in 10 will require a WAN
connection.
Using the LAN, the MEI Telemeter can link machines in a group – even basement machines
and machines on upper floors in high-rise buildings. That group of machines can then share one
cellular connection (up to 10 machines can share one WAN connection). You don't need to buy a
separate service for each machine. That means you save $7 - 10 per machine every month.

2) MEI Series 2000 Acceptor with Combo Bezel – This unit combines
the industry-leading MEI series 2000 bill validator with a swipe-style
credit card reader designed and built to resist debris. This means that, in addition
to taking bills, the MEI combo acceptor will accept credit cards, debit
cards or MEI coupons using only one bezel. So there's no need for you to
punch another hole in your machine to make way for a second acceptor.
If you already have MEI Series 2000 acceptors installed in your machines,
simply swap the standard bezels for combo bezels and you're good to go.
