1) MEI Telemeter with LAN device – This is the brains of MEI's curbside
polling technology. This unit plugs right into the DEX jack to deliver the
freshest data to your drivers right as they pull up to a building. Without
leaving the truck, drivers get all the info on product usage, maintenance
issues, and sales information for each machine – eliminating that time-wasting
“first walk.”
To enable curbside polling technology, MEI will install an MEI Telemeter with a LAN device
in each vending machine and in each truck. The Telemeters “talk” to each other via the LAN network.

2) Handheld PDA – These state-of-the-art units are installed in each
truck along with the MEI Telemeter. The Handheld PDA collects and
stores the DEX data sent from each machine – including automated
pick lists and vend ticket data.

3) MEI DEX Box – Older machines that are not DEX-ready or DEXcapable
will need an MEI DEX Box. The DEX Box is a simple,
inexpensive upgrade unit that delivers DEX data to the MEI Telemeter.
