1) MEI Telemeter with LAN/WAN configuration – This device is at the
heart of all MEI telemetry technology solutions. It can be equipped with
both a Local Area Network device and a Wide Area Network cellular
communications device – depending on your needs.
The MEI Telemeter plugs right into the DEX jack of your machines to
delilver valuable data to your home office via the internet. Before
leaving the depot, drivers get detailed info on product usage and sales
information for each machine. And if a malfunction occurs, you're alerted right away.
MEI will install a Telemeter in each of your machines. Every machine will need the LAN device,
but only 1 machine in 10 will require a WAN connection.
Using the LAN, the MEI Telemeter can link machines in a group – even basement machines
and machines on upper floors in high-res buildings. That group of machines can then share one
cellular connection (up to 10 machines can share one WAN connection). You don't need to buy a
separate service for each machine. That means you save $7 - 10 per machine every month.

2) MEI DEX Box – Older machines that are not DEX-ready or DEXcapable
will need an MEI DEX Box. The DEX Box is a simple,
inexpensive upgrade unit that delivers DEX data to the MEI Telemeter.
